WABE’s first round of free regional forums was a great success! We had Drs. Anita Bright and Esperanza De la Vega from Portland State University present in Vancouver, Drs. Marsha Riddle Buly and Tracy Coskie from Western Washington University and Michelle Hornof, NBCT, from Bellingham School District present in Tacoma. In Toppenish, Laurie Lafser, NBCT, and Veronica Barrett, ESL Endorsement from Royal School District put on their workshop to enthusiastic response.

Each presentation was slightly different based on the presenters’ expertise, but all were full of solid research and practical ideas. Watch this space for next year’s workshops.
