Boosting Achievement of Newcomers: Practical Sheltered Strategies that Boost Learning for ALL
Many research-based sheltered strategies are helpful for language learners. But which techniques offer us the biggest bang for our buck in a diverse classroom? Which strategies support the struggling learners, the unmotivated child, and even the advanced student? Which techniques propel the learning of students with limited education and extend our on-level and above-level students? The focus of this workshop is on our off-level English Learners (SLIFE) but the strategies boost the achievement of the entire class. This interactive workshop will offer practical techniques educators can implement immediately.
*Seating limited to 90 participants
