Interactive Workshop: Collaborative Planning for Content and Language Integration
The goal of this PCI is twofold: (1) to help participating educators engage in critical conversations around collaborative practices for multilingual learners, (2) to explore effective practices for content and language integration embedded in the collaborative instructional cycle of coplanning, coteaching, co-assessing and reflection. The following essential questions will be explored: (1) What types of collaboration within the Grade K-12 context yield the most effective instruction to meet the diverse academic, linguistics, and social-emotional development needs of MLs? (2) How do you plan for language-based differentiation of instruction for all students?
