WABE Annual Conference Volunteer Opportunities

WABE is seeking six volunteers to assist with registration tasks on Thursday May 1 and Friday May 2.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2025 WABE Annual Conference! We are seeking six volunteers to assist in the setup of the conference on Thursday May 1 and Friday morning May 2. Our volunteers will receive a WABE shirt and a complimentary two-day registration to the Annual Conference. Please see the responsibilities below.

These three areas will be taken into consideration in volunteer selection criteria:

(1) If your district or organization cannot pay for your conference attendance (2) Para-education, College of Education Students or Student Teachers.

WABE Volunteer Responsibilities

Thursday May 1

o    Arrive by 12pm Thursday to assist with pre-conference registration and swag bag stuffing.

o    Assist in onsite registration tasks and setup during the afternoon.

o    Early dinner will be provided for volunteers from 5:00 – 5:30pm.

o    Staff the onsite registration area from 5:30 – 7:00 pm during the onsite reception.

o    Move swag bags and make sure registration area is all set from 7:00 – 8:00pm.

Friday May 2

o    Arrive at the registration area by 6:45am

o    Assist with badge handout, swag bag giveaway and helping attendees find their breakfast locations from 7:00 – 9:30am

o    Late breakfast will be provided for volunteers from 9:30 – 9:45 am.

o    10:00 am – Go enjoy the 2025 Annual Conference!
